Work with us at English Street Escuela de Inglés

English Street Escuela de Inglés is currently recruiting 3 EFL teacher in Palma Del Río, near Cordoba, in southern Spain.  This is the perfect opportunity if you are new to teaching, want to improve your teaching techniques in a supportive environment or are looking for teaching experience in a range of contexts.

First, a little about us

English Street Escuela de Inglés, Palma del Río

English Street Escuela de Inglés is a small but professional school which opened in Palma Del Rio in 2012. It has grown steadily since opening, thanks to the hard work and professional service offered by staff members year in year out.  We are a member of ACEIA and FECEI, a mark of our professionalism in terms of how we treat both our students and our workers.

Now we are looking for the right teacher to join our team and continue the good work.  If you think you could be one of our teachers, read on for more information.

Personal qualities

A large proportion of the teaching timetable is dedicated to teaching primary school and pre-school aged children.  That means that our teachers must possess certain personal qualities.  Namely, we are looking for staff who are fun, charismatic, creative, dynamic, energetic, caring, patient, firm but fair, and responsible.  Knowing Spanish is not essential for the job, but will be beneficial for the teacher's social life.

A small proportion of the teaching timetable will involve preparing older students to pass their B1, B2 or C1 exams.  Therefore, we also need somebody who is comfortable providing clear explanations, who can respond to their students' needs and who can process and organise information effectively.

Another important quality is the desire to develop as a teacher and to take on board advice given during professional development sessions.
